Services to the Armed Forces

The national American Red Cross has consolidated their call centers into four regional offices, Louisville, KY, Ft. Sill, OK, Springfield, MA and San Diego, CA. These centers will handle military communications regionally in an effort to streamline the process. A national toll-free number will replace the service center and chapter numbers currently in use. Effective June 13, the 877-272-7337 number will receive all military emergency communication calls and military assistance requests 24 hours a day.

Local chapter representatives will provide follow-up assistance when necessary and will provide military readiness groups with presentations regarding the American Red Cross Services to the Armed Forces.

Families of servicemen and women, Active Duty, retired veterans and National Guard and Reserve, are encouraged to contact the American Red Cross for information on the Services to the Armed Forces program.
